Life keeps inviting us back to ourselves
The shapes of our lives are seldom straight lines. My squiggly trajectory has taken me across countries and cultures, from my native Romania to Italy, Austria and now the UK; and across practice fields, from financial communication to organisational consulting and executive coaching.
In the midst of it, I started training as a psychotherapist over ten years ago. It soon dawned on me that this is a maturation process that cannot be rushed. My own threshold moments — moving countries, changing careers, burnout, loss, depression — were shaping my practice just as much as the therapy and coaching tools I was picking up.
Along the way I've learnt that when we spend too long living by expectations that aren't truly ours, life has a way of interrupting us.
Sometimes gently.
Sometimes painfully.
We may experience these moments as failure, confusion or loss. But they often carry an invitation: to become more honest about who we are and what we stand for. To unlearn, shed what no longer fits, take new risks and live more in accordance with our own nature.
My work is about helping people respond to that invitation — not by becoming someone new, but by recovering parts of themselves and possibilities that have been lost, forgotten or set aside.
My principles
Insight needs actionReal change happens when we go beyond merely talking — to experience something different. My practice is centred on facilitating experience: experimenting with new behaviours; discovering another way of relating is possible; taking risks that once felt unimaginable.
We change in relationship, not in isolationI don’t believe therapy or coaching is something I do to you. My approach is collaborative, with our relationship at the heart of the work: a living space where we can notice old patterns as they emerge, understand how they have served you and experiment with new possibilities.
The mind needs the bodyMuch of what keeps us stuck lives below the level of thought — in patterns that repeat, in ways past experiences can still be felt in the body, in parts of ourselves that don’t respond to logic.
So in our sessions together we slow down and pay attention to what is arising moment by moment: feelings, physical sensations, impulses, intuitions.
That ‘felt sense’ often unlocks what circling thoughts can’t.
